I'm an Aeternalae. Aeternalae was a fad in the early 200's that kind of died out around the time the first western anime boom fizzled out. But you can't seem to "stop" being an Aeternalae once you've been "touched." I'm okay with that, I'm proud of that part of me, and only regret that I never tried to properly embrace it over the years.
I'm not affiliated with "Nina"(In quotes because she used many handles) the anonymous founder of the original movement. I looked up to her greatly at first, and there was a time I thought I'd sacrifice anything for her. But the cultish idealism wore off pretty quickly when I realized her morals didn't match up with mind. I've never spoken to her, because I knew we'd clash Granted, I went through a jerk phase for a good three years or so wherein I brutally betrayed people close to me and had to rebuild pretty much from square one because of all the bridges I'd foolishly burned. I don't have that much of a moral high ground. But it stands that even if Nina is partially responsible for who I am now, I don't walk to the beat of her drum.
I guess I'm mainly posting this because I don't know if this person is still on the internet or if copycats impersonating her are cropping up, but regardless, I'm not associated with them, to reiterate.
End of the impromptu rant. Hope to get back to fun stuff soon.
